The number of Indians airlifted by 75 special civilian flights goes up to 15,521. IAF had flown 12 missions to bring back 2467 passengers, as part of Operation Ganga and carried over 32-tonne relief material.
Among the civilian flights, 4575 passengers brought from Bucharest by 21 flights, 1820 from Suceava by 9 flights, 5571 from Budapest by 28 flights, 909 passengers by 5 flights from Kosice, 2404 Indians from Rzeszow by 11 flights, and 242 persons by a flight from Kyiv.
Amid the ongoing invasion of Ukraine by Russia, the Energy giant Shell on Tuesday said that it will stop buying Russian oil, natural gas and shut service stations in Russia, news agency Associated Press reported.

On the other hand, the Russian military declared a ceasefire in Ukraine and opened six humanitarian corridors for the safety and welfare of civilians.
According to a report by Sputnik, Russia took this decision after its President Vladimir Putin spoke to the French President Emmanuel Macron over the phone on Sunday.
According to IST, the humanitarian corridors have been opened at 12:30 pm.
Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Ministry said on Monday that more than 17,400 Indians had been brought back from war-ravaged Ukraine and its neighbouring countries through special flights since February 22 under Operation Ganga.
On Monday, 1314 people were airlifted by seven special civilian flights from Ukraine’s neighbouring countries.
Of the flights that arrived on Monday, four landed in New Delhi and two in Mumbai. Another flight is expected to land in the late evening on Monday. "There were five flights from Budapest, and one each from Bucharest and Suceava," the ministry said.
Earlier today, the Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan said that out of 20,000 Indian citizens, more than 16,000 have been evacuated and around 3,000 are still in Ukraine’s neighbouring countries.
He added that around 600 Indians are still in Sumy and the government is making efforts to evacuate them.
