New Delhi: Indian nationals who are arriving at the Ukraine-Poland border through public transport have been advised to make for the Shehyni-Medyka border crossing, said the Indian Embassy in Warsaw.

The fresh advisory comes as India firms up its plans to evacuate its nationals stranded in Ukraine due to a Russian military offensive. On Friday, Russian forces moved deep into Ukraine on the second day of the invasion.

"Indian nationals who are crossing to Poland have been asked to fill in their details in a Google form https://forms.gle/TPmtUeMh98Q4XgvP9 to process their requests to make arrangements for the seats in the repatriation flights which will be arranged shortly," the advisory said.

An embassy official, Pankaj Garg (contact number: +48660460815), has been stationed at the Shehyni-Medyka Border crossing. The embassy office at the Krakowiec border will be operational later in the day, the advisory read.
