New Delhi: In a viral video, hundreds of Ukraine's civilians were seen walking towards a tank to block its path in Southern Ukraine. On the outskirts of Koryukivka, people are blocking the movement of Russian soldiers.
According to AFP, reports suggest Russian soldiers stopped to ask for directions and were surrounded by locals to prevent them from moving towards Kyiv.
As tensions escalate between Russia & Ukraine, civilians are taking matters into their own hands many have enlisted themselves into the army or groups like the Territorial Defence Centre some with little to no combat experience.
Others are still finding ways to stop tanks from moving any further, a Twitter user shared a photo of a man kneeling in front of a tank, in the video, people were shown trying to stop a tank by trying to climb on it or pushing it back indicating that the tanks shouldn't go any further.
In another video of a Ukrainian civilian, which went viral he could be seen removing a mine with bare hands to clear the way for Ukrainian troops. The man spotted a mine on the road and instead of waiting for the bomb disposal squad got the mine removed himself.

At a conference with his senior officials, Putin said that prominent NATO powers had made “aggressive comments”, in addition to the West putting harsh financial restrictions on Russia, including the President himself.
Meanwhile, Ukraine approached the International Court of Justice in the Hague against Russia to hold the country accountable for its action against Kyiv.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a tweet had written, “Ukraine has submitted its application against Russia to the ICJ. Russia must be held accountable for manipulating the notion of genocide to justify aggression. We request an urgent decision ordering Russia to cease military activity now and expect trials to start next week.”
