Four people were killed and 10 injured after a hot water pipe burst at a shopping mall named Vremena Goda, in western Moscow, on Saturday. Earlier there were suspicions of an ammonia gas leak, however, investigators who were at the scene rejected these claims. Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that among the injured, some had suffered burns and that the emergency services were at the site to help reported Reuters.

"We are providing medical assistance to all the victims," Sobyanin said.

In a video, flooding throughout the building and steam flowing out of a doorway can be seen.

“The death toll from a burst pipe at the Vremena Goda shopping center on Kutuzovsky Prospekt in Moscow has risen to four, the medical services told us,” TASS reported.

The mall, known as Vremena Goda (The Seasons), opened in 2007 and houses over 150 stores.
