New Delhi: Pakistan Minister Fawad Ahmed Chaudhary on Thursday made an admission of the fact that the terror attack in Pulwama that was carried out in the month of February last year, was orchestrated by Pakistan. Chaudhary who is known for his previous controversial statements was heard saying this in Pakistan’s National Assembly.

Pakistan's Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Choudhry, said in the National Assembly that Pulwama was a great achievement under Imran Khan's leadership, thus making an impulsive admission of the fact that Pakistan had been denying ever since the attack took place.

He went on to say how Pakistan Government under Imran Khan was directly involved in Pulwama execution.

His statement comes at a time he was trying to respond to the narrative of opposition leaders claiming that the country’s top leadership was scared of an attack from India.

"Legs were shaking and forehead perspiring" at a meeting of Pakistan's top leaders, including Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, wherein Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi pleaded to release Indian Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, saying if he was not released, India would attack Pakistan, a top Pakistani opposition leader had said.

However, talking to a news channel later, Chaudhary later said he was talking about post Pulwama Attack and how they handled the situation.
