Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to France, senior officials of the Indian Tri-service joined the rehearsals for the Bastille Day Parade in Paris. PM Modi has been invited as the Guest of Honour at the Bastille Day Parade in France. Speaking on the Indian Tri-service contingent participating in this year's Bastille Day Parade in France, Indian Navy Commander Prateek Kumar said that it is a great feeling for entire India that the country is being represented at the Bastille Day.
"This is a great feeling for not only the armed forces but for the entire people of India that we have been represented at the Bastille Day, a prestigious event of the French government. We are happy that we are here as part of a tri-service contingent from the Army, Navy and Air Force," Kumar told ANI.
Speaking on PM Modi’s visit, ADP group CEO Augustin de Romanet said that the ADP group is very proud to be a part of the ties between the two countries by participating in skilling up the airport infrastructure of India. “The ADP group is very proud to be a part of these (India-France) ties by participating for three years in skilling up the airport infrastructure of India. It is an honour for France to welcome PM Modi for the Bastille Day celebrations,” Romanet said, as quoted by PTI.
