PM Modi UAE Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a visit to the United States of Emirates (UAE), said on Wednesday that the way Dubai is becoming the global epicentre of the global economy, commerce, and technology is a big thing. Speaking at the World Governments Summit in Dubai, PM Modi asserted that concerns of the developing world and the participation of the Global South in global decision-making should be promoted and needy countries should be helped.

"Today, when we are transforming our country, shouldn't there be reform in the Global Governance Institutions as well? We have to promote the concerns of the developing world and the participation of the Global South in global decision-making. We have to listen to the voice of the Global South, we have to bring forward their priorities, we have to help the needy countries.

During the event, the Prime Minister also shed light on artificial intelligence, cryptocurrency, and cybercrime. He said that there is a need to create global prototypes for emerging challenges like artificial intelligence, cryptocurrency, and cybercrime.

"We will have to create global prototypes for emerging challenges like AI, artificial intelligence, cryptocurrency, and cybercrime. We will have to give priority to our national sovereignty and also keep the dignity of international law," PM Modi said.

PM Modi also said that people’s trust has increased in the Indian government over the last few years, and people have trust in the intent of the Indian government.

"Over the last few years, people's trust in the Indian government has increased. People have trust in the intent and commitment of the Indian government. This was possible only because we prioritised public sentiments in governance," PM Modi said.
