The decision was taken during PTI government’s cabinet meeting held on Tuesday chaired by Imran Khan. Chaudhary said that the legal formalities for the decisions are under consideration.

New Delhi: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is considering a complete closure of its air space to India and a complete ban on use of Pakistani Land routes for Indian trade with Afghanistan, Pakistan’s Federal Minister Chaudhary Fawad Hussain said on Tuesday, adding an apparent threat that Pakistan will finish what PM Modi has started. The decision was taken during PTI government’s cabinet meeting held on Tuesday chaired by Imran Khan.  Chaudhary said that the legal formalities for the decisions are under consideration. "PM is considering a complete closure of Air Space to India, a complete ban on use of Pakistan Land routes for Indian trade to Afghanistan was also suggested in cabinet meeting, legal formalities for these decisions are under consideration... Modi has started we ll finish," he tweeted. The Prime Minister's Special Assistant on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Khan informed the Cabinet about his decision to raise the Kashmir issue in the world and that he had become the "voice of the Kashmiri people". "The entire nation coming out on the streets for the rights of the Kashmiris, it is message of 'Do more' for the rest of the world," she said. This comes after, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his meeting with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in France on Monday, categorically rejected any scope for third party mediation between India and Pakistan on Kashmir. After PM Narendra Modi’s meeting with Trump, a riled Pakistan PM Imran Khan invoked the threat of nuclear weapons, if conflict between the two countries moves towards war. Addressing the nation on the Kashmir issue, Khan had said, "If conflict moves towards war then remember both nations have nuclear weapons and no one is a winner in nuclear war and it has global ramifications. Super powers of the world have a huge responsibility..whether they support us or not Pakistan will fight for Kashmir till the last breath."
