New Delhi: Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison on Sunday cooked popular Indian snack Samosa and expressed his desire to share it with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Naming it ‘SCoMosa’, he said he would have liked to share the gastronomic delight with PM Modi, had their meeting not been scheduled via videolink due to Coronavirus. Responding to this, Modi said that two leaders will enjoy Samosa together after defeating Coronavirus.

This friendly exchange on Twitter comes ahead of Morrison’s video meet with Narendra Modi scheduled on June 4.

The Australian PM emphasised that everything was made by him, from the scratch, including the chutney.

"Sunday ScoMosas with mango chutney, all made from scratch -- including the chutney! A pity my meeting with @narendramodi this week is by videolink. They're vegetarian, I would have liked to share them with him," Morrison tweeted.

Prime Minster Modi replied that the two countries are "Connected by the Indian Ocean, united by the Indian Samosa!"

"Looks delicious, PM @ScottMorrisonMP. Once we achieve a decisive victory against COVID-19, we will enjoy the Samosas together. Looking forward to our video meet on the 4th," Modi said.
