First lady Melania Trump wore this jacket while she was on her visit to Texas to have a word with the children and the officials at the shelter for migrant children.
At a time when the President is already facing flak for his ruthless immigration laws and attitude towards immigrants and their children, Melania’s choice of dress proved to be a fiasco, as she had to face the wrath of netizens for her lack of empathy.
As per reports, the controversial jacket was an olive green by Zara in white graffiti-style lettering worth $39.
On seeing her wife being roasted over the jacket she wore, President Donald Trump tweeted “Trump tweeted, "I REALLY DON'T CARE, DO U?" written on the back of Melania's jacket, refers to the Fake News Media. Melania has learned how dishonest they are, and she truly no longer cares!”
Despite of being criticised, Lady Trump chooses to wear the same jacket while she was on her way back to White house, as per reports.
Post her visit to Texas immigration centre, Melania tweeted, "Today's visit to #Texas to spend time with children & thank the many hardworking individuals helping to care for them was very meaningful. Thank you to @SecAzar @HHSGOV for traveling w me today & the care you are giving these children in such a difficult time."
