Israel-Hamas War: Countries and people living inside their boundaries are all divided among themselves as conflict in the Middle East continues to take a serious turn day by day. 15 days have passed since Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel and the Jewish nation retorted with the operation 'Sword of Iron' to assault Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Now, climate activist Greta Thunberg has voiced her support, among many others, for Gaza.

She shared a post on X, formerly Twitter, with three other girls where she held a poster stating 'Stand With Gaza'. The other girls held posters that said: 'Free Palestine', 'Climate Justice Now' and 'This Jew Stands With Palestine'.

"Week 270. Today we strike in solidarity with Palestine and Gaza. The world needs to speak up and call for an immediate ceasefire, justice and freedom for Palestinians and all civilians affected. #FreePalestine #IStandWithPalestine #StandWithGaza #FridaysForFuture," Greta Thunberg said in her post.

However, the post didn't go well with Israel which in response said that Hamas doesn't use any sustainable material for its rockets that "butchered" innocent Israelis. It urged Thunberg to speak up and said that victims of the "Hamas massacre" could have been her friends.

Reposting it, Israel said, "Hamas doesn’t use sustainable materials for their rockets which have BUTCHERED innocent Israelis. The victims of the Hamas massacre could have been your friends. Speak up." Israel shared photos of some of the victims who were killed by Hamas militants.

The war entered its 16th day on Sunday with Israel continuing its overnight attack on Hamas targets inside the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, the situation is dire in the Hamas-controlled enclave with Israel cutting power, food and water supply and hospitals dealing with utter crisis due to a consistent increase in the number of patients here.
