New Delhi: Soon after moving the world with her fiery speech at United Nations Summit, Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg briefly crossed her way with one of the most powerful leaders in the world, Donald Trump, where she fixed a steady stare at him as he arrived at the UN to attend a meeting on religious freedom. The moment of “death stare” was caught on camera and was widely circulated on social media later.

The video of the 16-year-old climate activist giving US President an icy cold glare has now gone viral, prompting an immediate response on various social media platforms. In the video, the young girl could be seen waiting patiently in the lobby at the United Nations with her face reflecting curiosity as she awaits to see who's arriving. Her expressions change to that of anger and frustration on seeing Donald Trump.

The video of the 'steely look' at Trump was also shared by Julián Castro, the Democratic presidential contender, along with a caption that read, “I think a lot of us can relate.”

Earlier, during her speech at the climate summit, Thunberg had slammed the world leaders and accused them of stealing her childhood and said, "We are in the beginning of a mass extinction and all you can talk about is money and fairy tales of eternal economic growth. How dare you?" The young activist, who kickstarted a global movement against inaction towards climate change, said, “You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words.”
