New Delhi: As countries world over marked the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on Tuesday, the world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa put up a spectacular show to pay tribute to the global leader.

The tower changed colour to Indian Tricolour bearing the image of Mahatma Gandhi and marked the occasion by displaying different messages given by him. The tower lit up with messages like ‘be the change you wish to see in the world’, ‘poverty is the worst form of violence’, ‘no culture can live if it attempts to be exclusive’, and ‘non-violence is the virtue of the strong’.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar shared the video of the beautiful staging on Twitter.
