Brazil's first lady, Janja da Silva, used the "F-word" for billionaire Elon Musk during an event ahead of the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro, which will take place on Monday and Tuesday. She was speaking about the need to regulate social media to rein in misinformation when a ship's horn sounded. She joked, "I think it's Elon Musk," and added, "I'm not afraid of you, F*** you, Elon Musk."

Musk's social messaging platform X was halted in Brazil for a month this year after failing to identify a legal representation and disobeying court demands to remove accounts accused of propagating "fake news" and hate comments.

Reacting to the video, Musk said laughing out loud. "They are going to lose the next election," he said in another post on X.

Last year, the first lady threatened to sue the social media platform after an apparent hack of her account. She also accused Musk of failing to respond. The next presidential elections in Brazil are scheduled for 2026. Notably, leftist Lula had a razor-thin victory over far-right predecessor Jair Bolsonaro in 2022.
