When asked about if West Bengal polls will be one of the toughest elections for him, Amit Shah said that he likes contributing and campaigning in every elections. "I cannot say that it will be a tough election for me as I am no more the BJP chief. Its JP Nadda and all credit for BJP performance goes and will be given to him," Amit Shah said concluding the interaction.
When asked about BJP's prominent faces in West Bengal, Amit Shah reversed the question hitting out at Mamata Banerjee saying that this time face will be the issue for TMC. "BJP Chief and parliamentary board will take decision on who will get what role and I have nothing to say in it. Let the time come, you will get to know about it very soon," he said.
While speaking about the National Register of Citizens (NRC), Amit Shah said that NRC was ordered in Assam by court and it has nothing to do with the BJP. Ahead of Assam Assembly polls which is scheduled to take place later this year, Amit Shah claimed that BJP has emerged as a strong front in the state and the party will form government with majority.
While speaking about the farmers' protest, Amit Shah once again said that the agri laws passed by the Centre is for the benefit of the farmers. "Agri laws give extra provisions to farmers and it snatches nothing from them. Even if they think there is need to talk, we are ready to discuss. But discussion cannot happen with the condition that repeal the laws first," Shah said.
When asked if farmers' protest will harm the BJP in Assembly elections, former BJP chief said no it will not and rather farmers of the country are happy with the new legislation.
Further in his interaction, Amit Shah pointed out that small alliance in West Bengal elections will only help the BJP. While speaking about Asaduddin Owais, Shah said that he is fighting his election and BJP is contesting its own. On the ticket distribution front, Home Minister said that there is no religious factor of giving tickets in BJP.
When asked about BJP including leaders from other parties and ignoring those who worked for the party from long time, Amit Shah said that every party wants to expand itself and we are doing the same. "Those who have been working with us have always given due credit and all workers of the party are very happy," Shah said.
While speaking with Sumit Awasthi, Home Minister Amit Shah rejected the claims of AIMIM being B Team of BJP. "There is no common sense of Asaduddin Owaisi and BJP being friends. Everyone has there own thought process and everyone is free to think and say what they feel," he said.
While speaking at ABP News Shikhar Sammelan, Amit Shah took a pot shot at Mamata Banerjee and criticised her for having issue with the slogan of Jai Shri Ram. He said that Jai Shri Ram is not a political slogan, its people's chant.
He further said that people don't understand what problem Mamata didi has if people chant Jai Shri Ram.
When asked about why Union Home Minister is so aggressively campaigning in West Bengal, Amit Shah said that its party of every worker and leader of the party to make sure people know what the party has done for them and this will happen only when we reach out to people.

While speaking at the ABP News Shikhar Sammelan, West Bengal Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Dilip Ghosh said that violence in the state is at its peak at the moment and law and order has been blown to smithereens by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress (TMC).
While speaking at the ABP Shikhar Sammelan, Indian Secular Front (ISF) leader slammed both Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said that condition of Muslims is very bad in the state. "While the TMC is Primary School, the BJP is High School," he said taking a pot shots at both the parties. He also said that its said that politics which was meant to serve the people has now turned into religion. "We are contesting the elections to strengthen the backward class. We want a government that does not opress the farmers," Peerzada Abbas said.
Hitting out at Congress during ABP's Shikhar Sammelan, BJP leader Arjun Singh that Congress is honking kettle-drum by just winning one Civic Poll in Punjab. He said that the main issue of West Bengal elections is 'corruption'. "Those who are criminals and committing crimes have increased their property manifold. Situation is such that even during Coronavirus pandemic, there was theft of rice," he said hitting out at the Trinamool Congress.
Congress leader Rohan Gupta also said that BJP's claim of getting 200 seats is mere a 'jumla'. He said that petrol price has skyrocketted to Rs 100/ litre while diesel is being sold at Rs 80/litre and they say they work for the people of this nation. "All what the BJP has done in seven years of its rule is horsetrading, be it Goa or Manipur," he added.
At ABP News' Shikar Sammelan, Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar rejected Bharatiya Janata Party's claim to getting majority in West Bengal Assembly Elections scheduled later this year. She said that BJP's claim of securing over 200 seats is similar to a person walking to the moon. She also said that farmers' are not happy with the BJP and even women are scared of the party.
When asked if and when will Rahul Gandhi visit Bengal, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan said that the former Congress cheif will soon visit the state to campaign for the party ahead of the elections. He said it is proven that Rahul Gandhi has a considerable psoition in the hearts of the people of Bengal which will help defeat BJP in upcoming polls.
The government is in a dilemma about CAA. The reason for this is that elections are to be held in Assam, Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry. If the BJP goes to Assam and says that it will implement the CAA, then it will incurr a loss. Speaking at the 'Jai Shri Ram' controversy, Ranjan said Lord ram has been made an election issue while the lord does not differentiate between Hindus and Muslims. He said that the culture of Bengal is such that we mix Ram and Krishna here. He said that there should not be politics in the name of Ram.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is in the Bengal to flag off the 5th Parivartan Yatra from Namkhana. Shah on Thursday addressed an election rally and that the BJP will form the goverment in West Bengal after the upcoming assembly polls and when it does, the Gangasagar Mela will be made part of the international tourist circuit.
TMC MP Saugat Roy while speaking at the ABP News Shikhar Sammelan clarified political stir going on over the slogan 'Jai Shri Ram'. Reiterating the Mamata Banerjee's aim, Roy on Thursday said that 'Maa, Mati and Manush' is still the slogan of Mamata Banerjee. Mati and Manush are closely related. Regarding the controversy over Jai Shri Ram's slogan, Saugata Roy said - Jai Shri Ram is not the slogan of Bengalis. The people of Bengal usually say Jai Maa Kali or Jai Maa Durga. That does not mean we have a any problem with Jai Shri Ram.
BJP leader Vaishali Dalmiya while speaking at ABP News Shikhar Sammelan said, 'I am an Indian first than anything else and I am proud to be an Indian. I want to do a lot for Bengal which I could not while staying in TMC. For three and a half years I have been saying that corruption is happening in Bengal, I have written many letters for the same."
She iterated that she did leave TMC but was fired from the party. Vaishali also said that she has no grudges against TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee and has always respected her.
Former Bengal Minister Laxmi Ratan Shukla said, 'Only the one who thinks good for the public will win. I want to make a request to all parties that we do not want a violence. I am not talking only of Bengal, but of entire India."
TMC MP Vivek Gupta while speaking at ABP News Shikhar Sammelan, targeted the saffron party claiming that Mamata sarkar has implemented many schemes and will continue to do so in order to make Sonar Bangla. But the BJP sitting at the center has withheld the GST money of Bengal.
Responding to this, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia took a dig CM Mamata Banerjee over making a fuss on 'Jai Shri Ram' during an event. "Who made the fight here between Hindun Muslim. BJP has respected everyone. Mamta is infuriated by the slogan of Jai Shri Ram. I want to ask why Mamta did not implement PM Nidhi scheme," Gaurav Bhatia said.
Joining the panel, congress leader Supriya Shirnate took a dig at the other panelists saying that the parties are deviating from the grave issues of the state. "Religion has become an issue in elections in Bengal while it should be GST, economy, umemployement and farners."
TMC MP Sukhendu Shekar Roy while speaking at Shikhar Sammelan claimed that Mamata sarkar is working on establishing peace in the state. Speaking about the attack on minister Zakir Hossain, Roy said that the bomb attack on the minister is a matter of concern. Targeting BJP, Roy said that the saffron party is trying to spread violence in Bengal. Further in his address, Roy took a dig at former TZMC leaders who left the party and joined BJP.
Both BJP and TMC are claiming to win more than 200 seats in the elections this time. Which party according to you will come in power this time. Responding to this, Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar said that it doesn't matter which party comes here. Mamta Banerjee knows very well about me that this governor will not go against the constitution under any circumstances.
When asked if he works as a BJP agent in the state, Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankar while speaking to Anchor Sumit Awasthi said that all his words, remarks, comments and Tweets are available in records to cross check. He claimed that as a Governor of Bengal, most of his meeting sin Raj Bhawan are held with leaders of opposition. Jagdeep Dhankar said that the situation in Bengal is worst than the Emergency.

The first guests of the ABP Shikhar Sammelan is Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar. Speaking at the stage, he welcomes ABP News and said that being Governor of Bengal is a huge achievement for him.
"I have a lot of responsibilities being the Governor of Bengal. Protecting the constitution and public interest is my foremost responsibility. It is also my utmost duty that under no circumstances will I ever cross the Lakshman line of the constitution nor will I let anyone do it."
Hours ahead of the mega ABP News Shikhar Sammelan, West Bengal minister Jakir Hossain was seriously injured after unidentified assailants hurled crude bombs at him inside railway station in the Murshidabad district on Wednesday evening. A senior official of the West Bengal Police told PTI that the minister was waiting for the train going to Kolkata on platform no. 2 at around 10 pm when he was attacked.
Soon, Hossain and a few other injured persons were rushed to the Jangipur government hospital. As per the early reports, the minister sustained injuries on the left side, mainly on the leg.
West Bengal Assembly elections will be held in April-May 2021. Ahead of the elections, ABP News earlier this month conducted a survey to understand the people's nerves ahead of the West Bengal Assembly Elections.
One being asked which political party or candidate will the respondents vote for in the coming Assembly Election, people reposed their faith in the ruling TMC. As per the survey, BJP has seen a 26% surge in their voter base when compared to the 2016 West Bengal Assembly Elections.
