Here’s a quick look at all the happenings in the motorcycling world this week

The Indian motorcycle market was action packed last week, with manufacturers not only launching new models but also postponing the launch of other highly anticipated models in the country.

Here’s a quick look at the turn of events that had everyone on their toes last week.

Ducati Launches Multistrada 1260 and 1260S In India

Ducati launched the Multistrada 1260 and 1260S in India, replacing it's earlier flagship adventure tourer, the Multistrada 1200. The 1260 may get a bigger engine but develops relatively less per and torque than its predecessor. So while it may look like a deal breaker, our team members from ZigWheels have a different take. Kawasaki Launches 2019 version of the Ninja 1000

Thanks to the SKD (semi-knocked down) route Kawasaki has been able to price the Ninja 1000 competitively. The only other bikes competing with the Kawasaki Ninja 1000 are the Ducati SuperSport and the Suzuki S1000F. But none of them are as feature packed as the Kawasaki. The price of Rs 9.99 lakh ex-showroom, also makes it a knockout deal for people looking at a litre-class sports tourer. To know more about what's changed on the 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 1000, click here.
