The theme of the week has to be going retro as not only did we ride the new Royal Enfield 650 twins in Goa but also saw the motorcycles that will bring about the new wave of Jawa enthusiasts. Both of these brands operate in the neo retro segment and it will be interesting how the future pans out for both of these iconic marquees.

These are Royal Enfield’s first parallel-twin engine powered motorcycles in over half a century and we love almost every single bit on both of these motorcycles. The hype around the brand had been increasing over the past few weeks with spy shots surfacing on the internet. We had all guessed it would only be an unveil but they shocked us with a launch of not one but three motorcycles of which the Jawa and the Jawa 42 would be offered now, the Perak slated to hit the dealerships sometime in the last quarter of 2019 or early 2020. Read our detailed piece on the three bikes here.
