The Classic Edition gets cosmetic updates for a more elegant visage
This looks like TVS' answer to the classically styled scooters like the Yamaha Fascino, Suzuki Access 125 SE and the Vespa SLX. The Jupiter Classic Edition gets a new paint job dubbed 'Sunlit Ivory.' There are simple decals on the front apron and sides. The plastics get a beige treatment instead of black. The seat is a brown and beige affair with contrast white piping and a rear backrest for the pillion. There is a generous use of chrome on the bike. The front gets a chrome trim on the front mudguard with chrome inserts on the turn indicators as well. The scooter gets round chrome mirrors and chrome bar-end weights - a segment-first. The scooter gets a windshield above the headlamp which adds to the style quotient.
The instrument cluster dials also get a classic design. It gets an under-seat USB phone charger.
Mechanically, the scooter remains unchanged, featuring the same 13-inch wheels and front disc brakes as the Jupiter MillionR. The engine is the same 109.7cc air-cooled single which develops 7.99PS at 7500rpm and 8Nm of torque @ 5500rpm, transmitted to the rear wheel via a CVT automatic gearbox.
The Jupiter Classic Edition is priced at Rs 55,266 (ex-Delhi), around Rs 900 more than the Jupiter ZX Disc.
