Amid the farmers' protest gaining international momentum with many world celebrities tweeting in support of the ongoing agitation in Delhi, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Saturday defended the ministry's reaction in the wake of farmers' protest getting world-wide attention and said that the they didn't know very much, was neither responsible nor accurate. While speaking with the media over the toolkit shared by Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, the minister also expressed concern over what all has come out in the open and said that a lot has been revealed and that they have to wait and see what else comes out.
"I think it has revealed a lot. We have to see what else comes out. There was a reason why Foreign Ministry reacted to statements which some celebrities gave out on matters on which they obviously didn't know very much," Jaishankar said, as quoted by news agency ANI.

Earlier on Friday, the Delhi Police asked Google for the details through which the controversial 'Toolkit' document for farmers protest was uploaded which was later shared on Twitter by Swedish climate change activist Greta Thunberg.
According to the reports, the police has asked for 'registration details' and 'activity log' of the account through which the document was uploaded.
After a preliminary investigation, Delhi Police allegedly believe that the toolkit played a key role in inciting violence during farmers' tractor rally on Republic Day and thus has asked Google to share the details. As per report, Delhi Police have scrutinised several social media accounts and have also placed 300 handles under observation.
