In an endeavor to contain a second wave of the coronavirus following the recent increase in cases, the Rajasthan Government has decided to impose night curfew in eight cities, including Ajmer, Bhilwara, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur, Sagwada (Dungarpur) and Kushalgarh (Banswara), from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday.
The decision in this regard was taken during a high-level meeting chaired by Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Sunday.
In addition, the state government has also made it mandatory for people entering Rajasthan from March 25 onwards to carry a negative RT-PCR test report not older than 72 hours.

As per the decision, the travellers would have to remain in quarantine for 15 days if the RT-PCR test report is not negative.
The Chief Minister also appealed to religious trusts, management committees and voluntary organizations to make proper arrangements for masks and sanitizing etc. for the visiting public.
With regard to festivals and fairs etc. held at religious places, Gehlot appealed to the management committees to make arrangements for online darshan.

It was decided during the meeting attended by state’s Health Minister Raghu Sharma, Principal Secretary (Home) Abhay Kumar, Medical Education Secretary Vaibhav Galaria, Medical and Health Welfare Secretary Siddharth Mahajan besides other senior officials that all decisions taken must be implemented at the earliest.
