Delhi Republic Day Traffic: Everyone waits throughout the year for the Republic Day parade on January 26 in the national capital. Preparations for the parade are carried out with great enthusiasm. To that there is no hinderance during celebration, Police have started making security arrangements before January 26. On the other hand, entry of goods carriers coming to Delhi from Gautam Budh Nagar will be restricted and their route will be diverted. However this will be done for just four days.


When will the goods carrier vehicles be diverted-
Delhi Traffic Police informed that the route will be diverted from 10 pm on January 22, the day when Republic Day parade rehearsal will take place, till the end of the program on January 23. Goods carrier vehicles entering the state of Delhi from Gautam Budh Nagar will further be banned from 10 pm on January 25 till the end of the program on January 28. All heavy, medium and light goods carrier vehicles will be banned. From a security point of view, their entry into the state of Delhi will be restricted.


Which routes should be used to commute-
Vehicles that have been restricted from entering Delhi can use three routes. These are the three routes-
- Vehicles going to Delhi from the Chilla border will be able to take a U-turn from the Chilla red light and go from Noida-Greater Noida Expressway via the eastern peripheral expressway towards their destination.
- Vehicles going from DND will be able to take a U-turn from DND Tone Plaza to their destination via Noida-Greater Noida Expressway via Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
- Vehicles going from Kalindi Kunj will be diverted from Underpass Tiraha before river Yamuna. They will be able to proceed from Noida-Greater Noida Expressway via Eastern Peripheral Expressway to their destination.
