Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to embark on a 148-day 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' which is slated to commence on Wednesday. The Congress leader along with other leaders begins the 3,570 km long yatra scaling from Kaniyakumari to Kashmir.

Congress calls this yatra a "new beginning" and a turning point in Indian politics as the Opposition is keen on taking on ruling BJP government in the upcoming 2024 General Elections.

Meanwhile, during this yatra, Rahul Gandhi, who is heading it, will be sleeping in a container, said an ANI report. While the questions raised that Rahul Gandhi's yatra would lead to flooding, the party clarified that the leader wouldn't stay at any hotel and he would complete it in a simple way. The containers Rahul Gandhi will be staying during his journey have been installed with sleeping beds, toilets and air conditioners.
