Chennai: After receiving positive response to the ‘PayCM’ campaign in Karnataka, Congress party has launched another social media campaign to share screenshots received through ‘PayCM’ campaign alleging various scams during the period of Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai’s rule. In a series of attacks against the BJP government, Karnataka Congress has started posting about the various scams on social media.


On Wednesday, the walls in parts of Bengaluru were found with posters having a QR Code and 'PayCM 40 percent accepted here, scan this code to make the CM pay for corruption'. Upon scanning the code, it directed the user to a newly launched web page of Congress party to receive complaints against CM.


After 'PayCM' posters, Congress released a series of 'PayCM' screenshots that speaks about various scams that have occurred under Bommai's government including the Cash for CM post, the infamous 40% commission, PSI scam, Assistant professor and junior engineers recruitment scam etc.

In a tweet, Congress alleged that BJP MLA Yatnal tried for the CM post but the "transaction failed".

INC Karnataka has also targeted BJP ministers who have allegedly been part of the scams, all showcasing the "PayCM" QR code from the phones.

Meanwhile, Karnataka CM Bommai called it a 'pesudo' campaign which maligned his reputation along with the image of the state. He said it was a systematic conspiracy and he has told officials to book those involved in the case.
