New Delhi: An explosion on Sunday in Kunar, Afghanistan, killed a Taliban member and injured six others, including a civilian. Tolo News quoted local security officials as saying that the blast occurred on Sunday in the city of Asadabad, the center of Kunar, when a massive explosion detonated a mine planted in a vehicle of Taliban forces. “A blast today in Kunar’s centre Assadabad killed an Islamic Emirate forces member & injured 6 others, including a civilian, said local security officials, adding that a mine was placed in a vehicle of the Islamic Emirate. Eyewitnesses said multiple civilians were harmed,” TOLO News tweeted.
Earlier on Saturday, there was news of a major IED blast in the Spin Boldak district of Afghanistan. At least five Taliban members and one civilian were killed in the accident. According to the information, the blast took place on Thursday.
The Kabul Security Department said that earlier on Monday, an explosive was detonated on a bicycle in Police District-4 of Kabul. According to the report of Tolo News, the security forces reached the area to investigate the matter and started investigation.
