New Delhi: Piaggio, a colossal Italian automobile manufacturer is planning to capture the Indian market with its upcoming bikes V9 Roamer and V9 Bobber at the end of this month. These models were exhibited in Auto Expo 2016 and they will definitely become a threat for Ducati scrambler and Triumph Street As it was launched few months before so Ducati scrambler has already earned its popularity among Indian bike lovers. Piaggio’s MD& CEO, Mr Stefano Pelle claimed that they will give a tough competition to the Ducati
Scrambler with the V9 Roamer and the V9 Bobber. As V9 Roamer and V9 Bobber will compete with Ducati scrambler globally, so the manufacturer has decided to bring these two models in India. Both of these models will be imported completely and the starting price for the models is near about 13.48 lakhs. Both V9 Roamer and V9 bobber possess an air and oil-cooled 850cc V-twin engine which provides 54bhp and 62Nm of torque. Moreover, both the MoTo Guzzi V9 and V7 are based on the steel twin-tube cradle frame, but it also noted that the powertrain is much bigger and more versatile.
On the other hand, being as a cruiser bike V9 siblings will give a neck to neck competition to the Harley-Davidson Iron 883.
