New Delhi: Monster Energy, the number one energy drink from the US, collaborated with 6-times X Games gold medalist and stuntman, Jackson Strong to recreate the infamous TukTuk chase scene from the classic James Bond movie Octopussy - one of the first James Bond films to have been shot in India - which was filmed in Udaipur in 1983. As part of its promotion for its new product, Monster Energy Ultra, the energy drink company attempted to recreate the Roger Moore action scene with world-renowned Stuntman, Jackson Strong in the same city.

Strong, who was on his first-ever visit to India, was particularly overwhelmed by the number of two-wheelers present in the country. He along with his mechanic and friend Mitch Pullen shot the Tuk Tuk sequence that included a number of high jumps and performed some cool stunts. While popping wheelies, taking high jumps, making dangerous back flips, performing kiss of death, cliffhanger and whips, Strong mesmerised the crowd with the his tricks that he performed on the specially prepped Yamaha YZ-250 two-stroke motorcycle.

On arriving in the country, Strong who hails from Australia said, “I am very excited to be here. It is culturally different to Australia. I’m a big fan of James Bond and it’s my honor to get a chance of being a part of the immortalized Octopussy scene after 36 years! James Bond has been an epitome of stunts in films and I hope to live up to the same!" He learned to ride dirt bikes on his family’s ranch at the young age of five years old. He joined the Crusty Demons at 13 and has been killing the sport ever since.

Monster Energy India’s Country Manager, Muffadel Janjira also commented, “We are proud to announce the launch of our new sugar free, no calorie product “Ultra” in India. We believe this great tasting, citrus flavored beverage will continue to support the passions of India's active and social youth."
