A massive fire broke out after an explosion at an illegal firecracker factory located in Madhya Pradesh's Harda city. As per latest information, the fire has spread to over 50 houses near the factory. According to PTI, seven people have died during the incident and around 63 injured have been taken to Harda district hospital. He also announced that the families of the deceased will be provided Rs. 4 lakh and the injured will be treated free of cost.






Upon receiving the information about the blast, fire brigade vehicles and the administrative staff rushed to the spot to control the situation. Fire brigade vehicles from Indore, Bhopal, and nearby districts have also been dispatched. Six fire brigades and Four ambulances from Narmadapuram along with doctors have also been sent to the Harda Fatka factory. Huge plumes of smoke could be seen from a distance after the blast.






Taking immediate cognizance of the incident, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav directed Minister Ravendra Pratap Singh, DG Home Guard Arvind Kumar, and ACS Ajit Kesari to go by helicopter. 400 police officials have also left for the accident spot. The medical colleges in Bhopal and Indore, and burn units in AIIMS Bhopal were also directed to make the necessary preparations. 


Madhya Pradesh's CM Dr. Mohan Yadav shared the sad news on his X account and informed that the authorities have been asked to make necessary preparations.






Former MP Chief Minister and BJP MLA Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed his grief on the explosion and prayed for the well-being of the people involved in the accident.
