We have earlier reported that Kia will launch another SUV in India in 2020





Kia Motors is set to enter the Indian market with the SP Concept-based SUV in September 2019 and we’ve already reported that the carmaker has plans to bring in another brand-new SUV in the second half of 2020. Now, Kia has confirmed that it’ll bring four car models in India, including the SP concept-based SUV.

Confirming the introduction of four models in India, Vishal Jadhav, president of Crescendo Worldwide, said, “We believe in bringing more and more business to India and making India a Global Manufacturing Hub. For KIA project, We are targeting to reach Tier II and Tier III automotive suppliers specially from small cities, which will support KIA to make cost effective products without compromising on quality. We will get to see 4 models of KIA in India.”



Crescendo Worldwide is a consulting firm that supports companies for joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, technology transfer, outsourcing, supplier development, distribution network formation, global subsidiary formation, facilitation of inward and outward FDI, etc.

The South Korean carmaker, which is also a Hyundai sister concern, is planning to manufacture and/or assemble its cars in India. The launch pattern of the products is yet to be finalised but we hear that all the four vehicles are being worked upon for the Indian market parallely. Kia is in the process of finding the right suppliers in India to serve its Tier-I South Korean vendors, who are setting up shop close to Kia’s plant in Andhra Pradesh. Production of cars at Kia’s AP facility will start in August 2019.
