Thiruvananthapuram: Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday has sworn in as the Kerala Chief Minister for the second time in a row after LDF thumped victory in the state Assembly elections. Vijayan in his stint for the second time will retain key roles like Home and IT portfolios while the first-timers PA Mohamed Riyas — Vijayan’s Son In Law — and Veena George take the onus of big portfolios. George will be the new Health Minister for the state which was previously held by KK Shailaja, who was hailed for containing the Covid-19 disease in the first wave hit in 2020.
