The priests' controversial statement comes after a Muslim boy was beaten up for allegedly drinking water in Dasna Devi temple premises.

Narasimhanand Saraswati accused the late Kalam of "supplying the formula of atomic bomb to Pakistan" as DRDO chief, without any evidence. The priest claimed, "Kalam had maintained a cell in Rashtrapati Bhavan, where any Muslim could file his complain."

In the same temple, a man identified as Shringi Nand Yadav has been arrested by the police for allegedly beating a Muslim boy in a dispute over drinking water in temple premises.

In a viral video, it can be seen that Yadav asked the boy his name and the boy said his name was Asif, after which Yadav is seen beating him mercilessly.
