The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) of India is a statutory organisation under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change that is the apex body that governs pollution control. It also provides technical support to the Ministry of Environment and Forests under the provisions of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986.
According to the notification, ‘Due to the pandemic situation by the speared of Coronavirus COVID-19 and the lockdown in the country, online applications are invited from the eligible and suitable Indian Nationals for direct recruitment to various posts on regular basis through open competition on all India basis.’

The notification advised that interested candidates should ensure that they have the necessary qualifications and experience for the position applied.
According to the job notice, “Applicants are advised to ensure before applying that they possess essential qualifications and experience for the post. The Experience, Qualification, and age will be reckoned as on the last date for submission of application i.e. 25th May 2020. No updating of qualification and experience will be entertained after the last date,"
