Yusuf (57) complained of chest pain and breathing problem on Friday morning and was taken to the district civil hospital where he died during treatment around 10.45 am, an official said.
An official from Nashik jail said that as soon as Yusuf was found lying on the floor, he was rushed to Nashik Civil Hospital where he died during the treatment.
Though his body has been sent to Dhule for postmortem, the cause of his death remains ascertained till now. "The cause of death was yet to be ascertained and the body would be sent to a hospital in Dhule for autopsy," the official said.

Yusuf Memon was the brother of fugitive gangster Tiger Memon who was the mastermind of 1993 Mumbai blast which had claimed lives of as many as 257 people while injuring hundred others.
The incident happened on March 12, 1993 when the Mumbai city was ripped apart by a serious of 13 explosions in different parts. It was considered to be one of the most terrifying and highly coordinated terrorist attacks in India in terms of life loss.
In the attacks, Tiger Memon was found to be the mastermind of the heinous conspiracy along with absconding gangster Dawood Ibrahim.

Tiger's brother Yusuf on the other hand was found guilty of allowing his flat and garage at Al- Husseini building in Mumbai for planning the terrorist activities. A special TADA court had sentenced Yusuf life imprisonment for his alleged role in the blast.
Memon's third brother Yakub was also indulged in the conspiracy and was hanged till death in 2015.
While Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar is believed to be residing in Karachi, Tiger, who had escaped India on the eve of blast, is allegedly in Dubai. He established his base there with the help of Inter - Services Intelligence (ISI)
