New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again proven his international mettle and left behind several global personalities to find a spot in the top 10 ranks of the World’s Most Admired Men list of 2021.


The World’s Most Admired Men list of 2021 has been compiled by data analytics firm YouGov on the basis of a survey. As per the report, PM Modi has bagged 8th spot in the list leaving behind several influential celebrities including US President Joe Biden, Pakistan PM Imran Khan, and Russian President Vladimir Putin.


The survey was conducted with more than 42,000 people in 38 countries and territories to compile the list.


Meanwhile, former United States President Barack Obama has once again bagged the top spot on the list, with American businessman Bill Gates securing the second spot. 


Gates was followed by Chinese President Xi Jinping on third spot, football player Cristiano Ronaldo on fifth and legendary actor Jackie Chan on fifth spot.




Other names on the list include Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Chinese businessman Jack Ma and ex-US President Donald Trump.


YouGov has also released a list of the world’s most admired women of 2021. In the list, top rank has been secured by Barack Omaba's wife and former first lady of US Michelle Obama. The second and third positions have been nabbed by Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie and Queen Elizabeth II, respectively. 


Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has made it to top 10 list landing at tenth spot. Others on the list include Pakistani Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai, Scarlet Johansson, Angela Markel, Emma Watson and Taylor Swift.
