New Delhi: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on the occasion of the 96th foundation day of the RSS has said that we do not want a culture that widens division, but a culture that binds the nation together and promotes love.
He also said that language should not create discrimination in society and that the new generation should know history. He said, "Partition of the country is a sad history, the truth of this history should be faced, to bring back the lost integrity and unity, the new generation should know that history" quoted ANI.
On Population Policy
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that due to the increasing population, there are many problems in the country. Therefore, there is a need to rethink the population policy. He said that there should be a population policy.
"We feel that this should be reconsidered. A policy should be made after thinking for fifty years ahead and that policy should be implemented equally on all because just as population is becoming a problem, in the same way, population imbalance is also becoming a problem in the country and in the world. There is no bad feeling towards anyone in this," Bhagwat said.
The Sangh chief said that a long struggle had to be fought for independence. People of every class have made invaluable contributions to freedom. Now again there is a wide gap of diversity. He said that Gandhi had started Satyagraha by raising salt. Foreigners took advantage of our weak society. The first condition of unity and integrity is to have a strong society.
The RSS chief said that according to the tradition of India, what should be the picture of independent India, the heroes emulated from all castes and regions of the country raised the Himalayas of austerity, and sacrifice. He said that the partition of the country is a sad history.
While addressing the crowd at Nagpur, Mohan Bhagwat said that all those who want the creation based on intimacy and equality of the society will have to make efforts. The volunteers of the Sangh are doing the work of creating an environment of social harmony through social harmony activities. He further said that this year is the 400th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji Maharaj. He was martyred for standing up against religious bigotry which was very popular in India. He was praised with the title of "Hind ki Chadar" or "Hind ki Shield".
Bhagwat further said that many freedom fighters from different castes, communities and different regions made great sacrifices and penance for freedom. Society also suffered the brunt of slavery with these brave souls as a unified entity. He said that there is a need to learn from the Corona crisis. Bhagwat said that social media is adding fuel to the fire. Work is being done to spread anarchy in the country.
