NEW DELHI: A wedding ceremony at a five-star hotel in West Delhi's Janakpuri turned ugly after a group of guests engaged in a fist fight with the hotel staff over quality of food. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media platforms showing staff of the Piccadily Hotel in Janakpuri vehemently beaten up by some guests.

According to reports, the guests were not satisfied with the quality of food served and later barged into the kitchen where they smashed plates and food on the floor. When the hotel staff protested and confronted them, they were allegedly assaulted by the guests.

The hotel, however, denied the allegations of serving inferior quality food and claimed that the groom’s friends misbehaved with the hotel’s female staff.

According to a report in TOI, Piccadly hotel, set up by Jessica Lal's killer Manu Sharma, was booked for the wedding ceremony of a business man based in West Delhi.



After the incident, a police team, as per reports, reached the hotel and detained three persons, two guests and one hotel staffer.
