NEW DELHI: Security at Parliament premises was put on high alert on Tuesday afternoon after a Lok Sabha member’s car rammed into a security barricade. The car belongs to Congress Lok Sabha MP from Manipur Dr Thokchom Meinya, ANI reported.


A video of the incident showed security personnel to taking positions at one of the entry points of the Parliament after the vehicle got stuck on the security spikes and set off the security siren.


Though no one was injured in the incident, but the bumper of car suffered damage. Security personnel are investigating the cause of the incident.
