Gurugram: A retired armyman, Nandlal, broke down to tears outside the State Bank of India, after waiting for hours in a 'never-ending' queue outside a bank in Gurgaon.

Describing his plight. He broke out when people threw him out from queue when left the queue for some time.

A picture of Nandlal crying went viral on social networking sites.

It is pertinent to mention here that since notes ban was announced on November 8, common people are facing a lot of inconvenience in getting cash. Serpentine queues outside ATMs and banks have become order of the day.

The demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 banknotes was a policy enacted by the Government of India on 8 November 2016, ceasing the usage of all ₹500 and ₹1,000 banknotes of the Mahatma Gandhi Series as legal tender in the country after 9 November 2016.
