New Delhi: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar on Wednesday had a "candid and completely non-political" chat with Prime Minister Narendra Modi where he asked about his fashion style. In the interview, Modi talked about his social media presence and said the biggest advantage of social media is that it allows the common man to express his creativity.

During the interaction with Akshay, Modi talked about his fashion style. He said that being careful about his appearance could possibly be a psychological reaction to an inferiority complex he felt growing up poor.

PM Modi also took jibe on the National Award-winning actor and said: “I read Akshay Kumar & Twinkle Khanna both of your Twitter accounts.”

“And the unhappiness she shows against me on Twitter must be keeping your married life happy.” He added.

On being asked by Kumar that PM Modi is known for his strictness, He said, "I am strict and disciplined but I do not get angry or insult any person."

He asserted that "being strict, disciplined and getting angry are two different things."

Earlier, the Bollywood actor wrote on the microblogging site Twitter "While the whole country is talking elections and politics, here's a breather. Privileged to have done this candid and COMPLETELY NON POLITICAL freewheeling conversation with our PM @narendramodi,".

PM Modi replied to the tweet, saying, "Dear @akshaykumar, it was good talking to you about everything, except politics and elections :) I'm sure people would like watching our conversation."

A short 30-40 second teasers of the interaction was released to the media with one of them showing Akshay Kumar quizzing PM Modi on what would be considered an unhealthy sleep cycle by most.
