Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo and India's former chief minister of Bihar, Lalu Prasad Yadav shared a video on Wednesday of himself driving an open jeep on the streets of Patna. As revealed by Lalu, he was driving his first-ever car on the streets of Patna.
Lalu Yadav, the 74-year old politician got nostalgic remembering his first car. "Driven my first car after years today. All the people born in this world are drivers in some form or the other," Lalu Yadav wrote on Twitter.
In the video, we can see Lalu Yadav drive a jeep on the empty roads near his residence at 10, Circular Rd, Rajbansi Nagar in Patna. The onlookers appear amused looking at their former CM driving a jeep.

Lalu also wished happiness to everyone. He wrote, "May the car of love, harmony, harmony, equality, prosperity, peace, patience, justice and happiness in your life always keep running happily by taking everyone along."
Lalu Yadav was in jail for his links to the controversial 'fodder scam', he came out of jail on April 17, 2021. His party, RJD lost a hard-fought election against the JD(U)-BJP alliance in November 2020.
RJD had returned to power in Bihar in 2015 in coalition with Nitish Kumar's JD(U), but was ousted in 2017 after Nitish joined hands with the BJP. His son, Tejashwi Yadav is expected to play a key role in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
