NEW DELHI: BJP MLA Vikram Saini on Friday threatened to bomb those who felt insecure in the country. The MLA from Muzaffarnagar said “my personal view is that those who say they feel unsafe and threatened in India should be bombed.”

To news agency ANI, Vikram Saini said "These traitors should be severely punished as per the law. If these people do not respect the values of our nation, then they are always welcome to leave this country and settle down in a foreign country,"

"Why should you stay here if you do not have any patriotic feelings towards your country? If you feel unsafe, go where you feel safe. Who has stopped them?" he said.

Reacting to the controversial statement by Saini, Asaduddin Owaisi tweeted “Right to Life is a Fundamental Right in Indian Constitution your personal /ideological view is illegal @PMOIndia sir your Saab Ka Saath ... is being “Bombed” Saini should be send to LOC if not possible to LAL CHOWK in SRINAGAR”

Earlier last year, expressing his concerns over dwindling law and order in the country where "death of a cow has more significance than that of a police officer", veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah had said he's worried for children in today's India.
