As per the claims of Dipankar Ray a passenger who was travelling in the same flight, the plane was stalled for hours with no eating and drinking services . When the passengers demanded alternative arrangement and refused to leave the plane, the AC was turned on at ‘full blast’ for hounding out the passengers.
Ray, who is Executive Director at Indian Oil Corporation (West Bengal) shared the video of inside the plane which was almost fogged and due to the full blast mode of the air conditioner.
He wrote: “This is the way Air Asia choked us out for deplaning when we asked them the alternate arrangement after flight i50582 was grounded after boarding . Avoid Air Asia , they may choke you to death.
He complained of “very rude and unprofessional behaviour” by the airline staffs.
The airline later issued a statement and accepted that the flight was delayed and expressed regrets.
The full blast mode is toggled on generally when the aircraft is on threat of a catching a fire. The intensive cooling in normal condition made the craft full of fog making it difficult for children and the elderlies.
