NEW DELHI: After Paytm emerged as the major beneficiary from India's demonetisation drive, a video of company's founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma has gone viral on social media celebrating the success at the new year's party and challenging the competitors.

In the video, circulated widely on internet, Sharma is seen boasting about what his company and employees had recently achieved.

"Jo hamare saath nahi hai woh royenge. Ek saal mein woh kiya jo unhone 10 saal mein nahi kiya. (Those who are not with us would cry. We did it in one year what others could not do in 10 years)," Sharma said.

"Humne kuch socha, humne kuch socha, humne kuch socha aur saala doosron ki pant geeli nahi hui toh kya socha. (If we thought of something that didn't wet the pants of others, did we even think?," he boasted.

It was revealed that he video was shot at a private annual party the company recently hosted to celebrate the success. But the manner in which an ecstatic Sharma was seen in the clip was termed as unpleasant by many, some even said it's 'objectionable'.

How the experts see the Paytm's party and its CEO's widely shared clip:

"The annual party of any organisation is its internal issue. The rule that govern such parties is that there must not be any sexual misconduct or harassment by any chance," Amit Kapoor, HR expert said.

"In the Paytm's party no such thing seems to have taken place. Though, it can be said that Sharma is bragging a lot about his company but overall it's an attempt to motivate the employees." he added.

According to experts the video can't be termed objectionable rather it's a motivational exercise.
