New Delhi: The murder mystery of 39-year-old Shailja Dwivedi, who was married to an Army Major has become the the most talked about incident in the last 48 hours.

Shailja, who was a mother to a 6-year-old boy, was found in a pool of blood near Delhi Cantt Metro station on Sunday. She was a proud wife and a mother. Now the question arises, who killed Shailja and why?

Another armyman, Major Nikhil Handa has been accused of murdering Shailja. Now, the question arises; why did Handa kill Shailja? As per the police, he was pressurizing her for marrying him, and when she refused for marriage, he slit her throat with a knife and ran his car on her.

Shailja was murdered when she reached Base hospital in Delhi Cantt for physiotherapy. Knowing she was coming treatment, Handa had already admitted himself in the hospital.

After, this both of them met and their conversation turned into a fight, post which Handa murdered Shailja around 1:15pm.

After interrogation, he told cops that he torched his blood-smeared clothes.

In fresh revelation in the murder case of Major Amit Dwivedi’s wife Shailaja Dwivedi, the accused- Major Nikhil Handa revealed that he spoke to the victim on call and SMS for at least 3000 times since the month of January.

Sources have revealed that in a day Handa would text Shailaja 10 to 15 times.

Police has also recovered two knives from Major Handa’s car. He had come to Delhi from Dimapur on pretext of treatment but it is being speculated that he may have planned the murder in advance.
