"The video is crystal clear. Protestors cannot be silenced through murder. There has to be accountability for the innocent blood of farmers that has been spilt and justice must be delivered before a message of arrogance and cruelty enters the minds of every farmer," Gandhi said in a tweet.

The video also shows two SUVs -- one black and another white -following the jeep while people can be heard shouting and crying.

Earlier when the video from Lakhimpur had surfaced, Gandhi had posted it on Twitter saying, ‘this video of deliberately crushing farmers with vehicles in Lakhimpur Kheri will shake anyone's soul.’

He has also written to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath regarding the incident and had demanded immediate identification of the suspects and a CBI probe under the supervision of the Supreme Court.

In his letter, he had said, ‘he agitating farmer brothers are our own citizens. If the farmer brothers are suffering on some issues and protesting under their democratic rights, then we should deal with them with great restraint and patience.’

Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Mishra has continued to deny the involvement of his son who was allegedly in the SUV that crushed the farmers.
