The traction motor of a Varanasi-bound Vande Bharat Express train jammed and halted on Saturday morning at Wair Railway Station near Bulandshahr, news agency ANI reported. Reports said that ground staff detected the fault and alerted the operations control room to halt the train.







The Indian Railways have said that the Vande Bharat Express suffered a bearing defect in the traction motor of c 8 coach between Dankaur and Wair stations of North Central Railway (NCR), ANI reported. 


"All passengers deboarded, shifted to Shatabdi Express rake for their onwards journey": Officials, news agency PTI reported.

The ministry further added that, "A joint team of 6 officers of NR and NCR headed by ADRM OP Delhi is at the site to monitor the situation and assist in transshipment. Detailed investigation of the failure will be done after taking the rake back to the maintenance depot," ANI reported. 






The Vande Bharat Express has been making headlines for the past two days. The train rammed into cattle for the second time in two days on Friday, causing minor damage to the train's front end, news agency PTI reported.
