New Delhi: In a raid conducted by Vadodara police on Friday, over 250 persons were arrested from a wedding party where liquor was being served despite strict prohibition laws. 


In the Akhand Farmhouse in Sevasi village near Vadodara a wedding party was organized by two high-profile business houses of Vadodara.

In the wedding event liquor was being served blatantly even when the state has banned it.

After receiving information of it the police raided the place & arrested 200 people which included several women. One of them was former IPL Commissioner Chirayu Amin.

Police seized 20 cartons of liquor from the spot.

The arrested persons were taken to a nearby hospital to test their blood samples.
