As per reports, the preparations are already underway ahead of Melania’s visit. She is expected to spend an hour at the state government school. The visit will take place at the same time when the POTUS will be meeting with PM Modi.
Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik on Wednesday said that there will be multi-layered security during Delhi leg of the US President Donald Trump's upcoming visit to India.

"There will be multi-layered security. Sister agencies will also help Delhi Police in security arrangements," he said.
The US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will reach Ahmedabad by noon on February 24 and will be there in the city for three hours. They will travel to Agra before coming back to the national capital for the main leg of the visit. On the morning of February 25, Trump and the First Lady would be accorded a ceremonial welcome at the forecourt of the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The announcement of Trump's first official visit to India was earlier made by the White House, which, in a statement, said that the US President and PM Modi had agreed during a recent phone conversation that the trip will "further strengthen the United States-India strategic partnership and highlight the strong and enduring bonds between the American and Indian people".
