There have been several incidents of attacks on labourers in Jammu And Kashmir reported in the past. In July, two labourers were injured after they were shot at by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district. Both the injured were taken to a hospital and are being treated. In the same month, three non-local labourers were shot at by terrorists in Shopian district. The injured were identified as Anwal Thoker, Heeralal and Pantoo.
