Lucknow: In a horrifying incident, a 28-year-old groom was stabbed by some of his friends barely a few hours after his marriage in a village near Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh after he refused to provide them with more alcohol to enjoy the wedding celebrations.

According to the local police, the whole incident took place in Palimukim Pur village of Aligarh district in Uttar Pradesh, when the 28-year-old Bablu went to meet his friends soon after his marriage for throwing a party.
After which his friends, already in an inebriated state, demanded more liquor from him, but the victim expressed his inability to arrange it saying that they already have enough of it, police said.
After expressing inability to arrange for more liquor, the party turned violent and the 28-years-old newly married groom was stabbed in a fit of rage, the police further said.
After the incident, the victim was rushed to a hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries.

Circle Officer Naresh Singh on Wednesday, told the media that the main accused of the murder Ramkhiladi was arrested on Tuesday, while five other accused are yet to be arrested as they are absconding but will be nabbed very soon.
Violence at weddings in the state of UP has now become a common site, recently a young man was allegedly beaten to death at a wedding function after the DJ turned down a request to play a Sapna Chaudhary song.
The incident took place at a marriage hall in Bulandshahar district of the state. The man was admitted to a medical facility where he died during treatment on Tuesday.
