New Delhi: Union Minister Ashwini Chaubey on Saturday made a shocking comment on Congress President Rahul Gandhi and termed him as “naali ki keeda”. Speaking on the allegations levied by Congress party on the Bharatiya Janta Party over the Rafale deal, Chaubey also said that he is suffering through a mental illness.

“He is going through a mental illness and must be admitted in mental asylum” he asserted.

Speaking further on Congress'allegations he said "My heart hurt when I saw Congress putting allegations on Prime Minister Narendra Modi".

The irresponsible statement coming from a Union Minister has raised several questions. This comes over nine months after Congress suspended its senior leader Mani Shankar Aiyer for his ‘neech’ jibe against Prime Minister Narendra Modi; following heavy criticism from government over the same.

Now, the ball is in Bharataiya Janta Party’s court. The party has not commented on Chaubey’s statement so far; nor has it taken any action against Chaubey.

Chowbey is in charge of Ministry of State for Health and Family Welfare in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet. He is also a Member of Parliament.
